Here am I. Send me!

You’ve heard a friend proclaim that the short-term mission trip that they went on was life changing.  With tears in your eyes you listened to the missionary’s stories when they came to visit your church.  You’ve felt the tugging at your heartstrings and sensed that still, small voice prompting you to go.  Yes, you.  You are a missionary because you serve a missional God.

Just listen to His calling . . .

“And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'”  ~ Mark 16:15

“Jesus answered, ‘If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.'” ~ Matthew 19:21

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” ~ Matthew 25:35

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”  ~ Romans 10:14
